ZENPUKUJI SEIRYODEN

Uploaded: October 19, 2011

Description

This is the main hall of Zenpukuji, a Buddhist Temple in my hometown. The main hall is called "Seiryoden." The box in the foreground is "saisen box" which is used for offerings. Originally built in 14th century but the main hall was burnt down repeatedly by fires. Photographed at Zenpukuji Temple in the city of Hamura, Japan.
