Grand Wash Trail in Capitol Reef National Park - I really didn't want to go up this wash with the cloud out there....so far I've not been caught in a flash flood....didn't want this to be the first time...so I went half the distance and turned around....only to see this image on my way back....lovely new tree and beautiful old snag in the rock....

Just beautiful Patricia - wonderful texture and colour set off beautifully by the ominous sky! #1415657

Thank you so much, Nadia....this was a wonderful hike even though I didn't complete to the end just because of the wonderful dark sky....the trail becomes pretty narrow at one point and I didn't want to be "stuck" there if there was a downpour....it just gives me reason to go back again....Have a wonderful day! #9738536

I think it's awesome. Have to be careful in the desert when it rains, floods quickly!! A winner shot for sure :) #9739241
