I really like the way you composed this capture Rita. Super well done. #1415025Michael Kelly October 13, 2011
Nice lighting and good non distorted view which can be tricky in capturing paintings like this. Good job Rita. #9733337Anthony L. Mancuso October 13, 2011
Good eye and nice comp Rita. I find the black on the left to be somewhat dominating and would try to open it up a bit, but if there is no data to be retrieved there I would consider a crop. #9733461Aimee C. Eisaman October 14, 2011
I'm sure it's difficult to decide where to break a painting like this. I really like how you brought the focus to the two women. I must admit though I wonder about the guys arm with the sword....makes me think maybe he was a peeping tom hiding in the bushes! lol :~) #9734159Joan E. Hoffman October 14, 2011
It is hard to capture paintings, and I think you did really well Rita. I actually don't mind the darkness on the left, for me it seems to add a bit of depth. Love Aimee's comment on the peeping Tom! LOL #9734248Carla Capra Anderson October 14, 2011
Hi Rita;Jeff E Jensen October 14, 2011
Well, you've received some good suggestions, so I'll just see what you come up with. #9734523Teresa H. Hunt October 14, 2011
Great job with this one Rita. I like how you composed it as well.I agree with the black being distracting. #9735565

You did a great job on this one and I will also wait and see you come up with from the suggestions. #9736970Rita K. Connell October 18, 2011
I sorry it has taken me so long. but I am beginning to feel like myself again. still getting use to the fact my ticker is as good as I like it to be. Can I say I won't be eating many french fries in the future they just aren't the same without salt on them....LOLDebbie E. Payne October 19, 2011
No french fries ... I would have a hard time with giving up salt so probably wouldn't eat them under those conditions anyway. Therefore I'd be better off because I would also be eliminating the fat involved!! Giving up salt is a small thing in comparison to what you''ve gone through and come out of. So glad you are showing us your images. I have one that may be similar to this one but I will have to see what my edits bring. I love the colors in your image. #9747143Aimee C. I think the new crop is an improvement, but I must say I like having the peeping Tom in view better. Creates more of a story in my mind. :~) #9752200Rita K. Connell October 21, 2011
thanks aimee for getting back to this one. I think I like peeping tom in it better also. #9752416Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
