ARKANSAS Curlicue
Uploaded: October 09, 2011
----
Another reworked shot from my Arkansas/Texas trip in January of 2010. I found that Nik Color Efex HDR and Tonal Contrast filters can really put "POP" into rocky scenics.
---
I thought the tiny curlicue tree branch feature was unique.

Your treatment is quite effective Michelle. It's a grand perspective! The tone and textures of the rock certainly pop out against the distant background. #1413949Michelle Alton October 09, 2011

The effects certainly do draw out the textures and colors of this rocky mountaintop, Michelle. I like how you composed this to make that curlicue branch rise "above it all". #9724835Stacey Williams October 09, 2011
