Ripples of Resistance

Description

A.P., 1/15th sec., ISO 200, Tamron zoom @ 300mm.
This leaf was stuck on the edge, resisting being swept over the edge some way I couldn't see. But the symbolism of hanging on was just what I needed at that moment as there were some very stressful events in my life at this point. In the same way, I couldn't see our Lord, but He was with me, and kept me from being swept over the edge with the flow of circumstances in my life.

Kerby, thank you for your comments and concern. It's amazing how sometimes a photograph can help us see, and put things into perspective. That is what this one did for me. The leaf cought my eye, so I captured it, and in looking at the image, answers just came to me. So yes, I am doing quite well and dealing with things with the help of our Lord. Thanks again, Dan. #1864672

Dan, I'm so very glad that I have visited your gallery! You have probably the widest range of beautiful images I've seen. But, mostly it is such a blessing to hear you express your love of our Lord, and express how wonderfully He works in our lives to uphold us through the trials. Glory be to Him! #2181425
