Fuzzy Feeling

Uploaded: September 09, 2011

Description

Well I'm finally at that point in my life where it was time to trade in the old single vision glasses for progressives (bi-focals). I'm feeling like this now, sharp head on and really fuzzy around the perimeter. I'm practicing some macros to see if affects my vision...time will tell. Have a great weekend everyone!

Exif: F Number: 3.2, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/200 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 40D

Hi Mary, beautiful macro here!!
Just leave them on and live with them for a few days and you will love them.
I got them a few years ago, drove from the optometrist in Guelph thinking I would never be able to wear them, kept them on all day, and soon I never even noticed them. #1407380

Well, you did a miraculous job on this, Mary! I feel you will be just fine with your new bi-focals! Gord's advice sounds reasonable & convincing! Good luck with them, my friend! #9663426

I love this, Mary! I can really experience the fuzziness of this flower! It feels like the tips are radiating outwards! I've been putting off getting readers, but I don't think I can go without them much longer! I work for an optician and she always tells her patients that it will take a short adjustment period to get used to bifocals, but everyone seems to like them. Great comp and capture ... reminds me of cat's fur! Hope you had a great time at the antique show! :) #9664430

The soft lighting and soft focus really bring the message home to match your title. The simplicity and isolation of the subject cement the focal point. Well done. #9665047
