Home Again
Uploaded: September 17, 2005
Taken on a bright day with lots of puffy cloud coverage. Around noon. Open shot including the house and lawn as well as our favorite part: the pond. See also "Home" in my gallery to see a closer shot of the house and lawn only.

This shot includes the sky, the house, the front lawn and part of the pond. I will include another shot of just the sky, house and lawn. Please offer advice on how they could be improved and which version you find most appealing. Thanks in advance.Coleen Thompson September 17, 2005

Thank you. I know which one I prefer. Just really wanted other honest opinions to help me along. Thanks for taking the time to respond.Jody R. Robinson September 17, 2005
We too both prefer home (alone?) again, and must admit we are a tad bit jealous of your garden, bet someone spent more than ten hours to get that looking like that LOL!! Nice photo, nice home, nice flowers - what else is there to say? LOLJody #1850050

Hi, I love the first photo with theColeen Thompson September 18, 2005
I'll go take another one with more pond and see how that is. Watch for that a little later on today. And thank you all: Jody, Mary & Terri. #1850731Coleen Thompson September 18, 2005
Hmm, the problem I have is the boulder in the pond really pulls all the focus. I find it distracting what do you all think? #1851034Janet Friedman September 19, 2005

oops sorry!I too find the bolder to be distracting. My preference is the Home Again picture. You have an excellent subject to begin with and you composition is spectacular. I wouldn't change a thing personally. You should definately have a winner with this one. Good luck! You have some other very nice photographs in your gallery. I hope to see you in the finals!

Thanks so much Janet. I haven't entered it quite yet although I do plan to. I wanted some feedback first.Actually I am adding a new edited version of "Home Again" I removed a bird from the sky that came out as a black blur.
