What an awesome shot! David, this really is a great shot...the lighting is beautiful. I tried for a similar shot the other day and well I am apparently not as skilled as you'll see :) Any pointers? Thanx all for the kind comments. As you can see the lighting was near perfect. The whitetails down in Shenandoah National Park are exceptional when it comes to being none skiddish. The lens that I used on this shot was a Canon 300mm f2.8 IS. Film: Fuji Provia 100f. I wrote a small report on our trip to Shenandoah Park. Here is the link for anyone interested.
