Leap Frogs
Uploaded: July 25, 2011
Baby leopard frogs captured in a green plastic bucket. So hot and dry here they are jumping into our salt water pool en mass. The large bucket has nice fresh water for them until we let them go.

Oooh la la that green bucket gave the perfect background for this swimming duo. Love the great detail you got on their legs. Were they trying to jump out while you photographed them?Looks like a thunderstorm is headed our way. Not brave enough to go storm chasing. #9556275

Such vibrant color and so nicely captured, Mary! They are adorable!! #9556496Mary Dimitriw July 26, 2011
Thank you; Courtenay, Karen, Ellen, Patrick, Carla, Heather, Freddy and Sabrina! The bucket was pretty deep Heather and the fresh water was quite cool so they went right under water and stayed there. It was tough with the macro lens because they were literally floating and swimming around. I had to time it just right when they stayed still for a few seconds.
Enjoy that storm and then send some rain our way. #9556543

The vibrant green background is perfect for these little guys. Hopefully, they found some relief from the heat. Brilliant, Mary! Deb #9560572Mary Dimitriw July 29, 2011
