Taken 20-minutes after sunset. Sunset was 25 degrees left of frame. For as much DOF as possible, used small aperture resulting in a 5s exposure. The 'smoothing' of the water was an unintended side-effect! Adjusted levels here to brighten the boats a bit. Question for this and "Twilight Tressel": How do you manage exposure/metering when the sky is still relatively bright, but the subjects (tresssel, dock/boats) are dark? Red Bank, NJ, USA, 16th July 2011. ISO 100, 24mm, f/16, 5s. Tripod

Exif: F Number: 16, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 5/1 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 24.00 mm, Model: NIKON D7000
