Purple Gloves Of A Fox

Uploaded: July 16, 2011

Description

... Well actually, they are called "Purple Foxgloves"!
Apparently these plants are poisonous and are said to be part of a witch's garden!
Perhaps that is why they were planted behind a wrought iron fence at the park!

The Scandinavian story goes: The fairies saved the foxes from
extinction when they gave the foxes the secret of ringing the foxglove
bells to warn of approaching hunters. The foxes also put on these flower
gloves so that they could tread more softly among the chicken roosts to
capture an unsuspecting hen or rooster.

Happy Saturday everyone!!!!! :)
