It is an awesome macro. But, aphids don't look like that. It looks to me to be the offspring.

So that was my question too: Aphids or Offspring? I'm going with aphids 'cuz I just learned that aphids come in many varieties...and I truly doubt that a mama beetle sticks around to raise the young Very thought provoking capture. #9517630

Thanks! I wish I knew the answers to the questions. At first glance I thought they were probably offspring but after studying them a little more I am not sure what they are. I do know that that I found some this morning that completely covering the bottom of some of the leaves of a certain plant. There must have been thousands of them. :-) #9519177
