The Cathedral in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is the seat of the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Montreal and is a scaled-down replica of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.It began its liturgical life in 1894 and made a cathedral-basilica in 1919 by Pope Benedict XV.
