Ft. Worth Zoo's Handsome Gorilla

Uploaded: June 26, 2011

Description

1/250, F6.3, ISO 800, TAMRON 100-300 @ 163mm. Right after I took this shot, this gorilla and his cage mate, turned around faced the cave wall and sat down. I told my friend we just got mooned! I actually felt like they were tired of being watched so they turned around in protest! I didn't get the shot because we had started to leave & people were in front of us.

Exif: F Number: 6.3, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/250 seconds, Flash: fired, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 800, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 163.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 30D

Pamela...love this capture. In my book it gets the GOLD. I was so impressed by the shot I had to call my husband over to my desk with the comment "you have got to see this great picture."
Simply stunning! #1464276

Thank You Zita! It's always good to have your work noticed by an accomplished photographer like you. I took a look at your website & loved it. We have similar taste. And like you, I just love to get outdoors and shoot.
