In His Kingdom # 2

Uploaded: June 21, 2011

Description

Masai Mara, Kenya.
To me, this image epitomizes Masai Mara, its vast expanse of dry golden grass with the Hills in the background and the King emerging out of it ......I had posted one similar image just after coming back from Kenya but somehow overlooked this image which shows little more of the Lion than the earlier post.

Exif: F Number: 4, Exposure Bias Value: -0.33, ExposureTime: 1/500 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 400, White balance: Auto white balance, FocalLength: 300.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 50D

Hi, Ujjwal!
This second image, catching the King in "slow"" motion, gives off a sense of energy compared to your first post of him. Wonder if he'd just spotted dinner at this moment?
Love that deep blue sky, especially combined with the golden fields. Fine work! #9486097
