Hi Jillian,
Thanks so much for the nice comments - much appreciated! I really like photographing outdoor car shows ... and when I find a bright-colored car in sunlight next to a black car in shadow, then I'm very confident I'll find a good reflection! Well, at least I hope that it will be good :-) These classic and custom cars are super-spruced up ... thus adding to the reflective quality.
At the same time, when shooting at car shows, I prefer zeroing in on details, colors, graphic-design elements and, of course reflections ... rather than trying to capture an overall view that invariably includes surrounding distractions. For this image, I also tilted my camera in order to add a touch of visual energy via the diagonal angle.
Glad you like the photo, Jillian!!

Here in AZ , every Sept/Oct we have what's called "Run to the Sun", you might be able to google run to the sun and find it,, they have awesome car show and all of main street is covered with them for a night. I'm anxious to shoot them now, after looking at your gallery! You should check into it! They also have them on a golf course for a day also. Which would be awesome shots with the grass. Just an idea for you! #4406368
