An excellent EOD entry and a well-deserved Finalist and Gold Winner! Warmest congratulations, Richard! (And how about Gabby Giffords emotional appearance at the House yesterday to cast her vote on the debt-limit bill? What a remarkable woman - a way to go therapy-wise but what a fighter she is...God Bless her!) #9576385

This structure at the University of Arizona Student Union Memorial Center is an architectural tribute to the sailors of the U.S.S. Arizona, who lost their lives on December 7, 1941 in the attack on Pearl Harbor. The shapes, curves, and domes are designed to evoke features of the battleship.
