My path to solitude

Uploaded: May 22, 2011

Description

This was taken at Jack London State Park in Sonoma, CA, one of the over 70 parks that the state will be closing soon to cut the budget :( So sad, it's one of my favorite places to hike and just be.

I Sympathize with you BIG TIME NYS closed parks took away free permits for the disabled and upped the entry fees last year on State Parks $8 on average. These are the places more & more folks go to escape the DOOM & GLOOM of the work week. I'll stop BECAUSE if I don't I'll start RAVING & RANTING.
NICE B&W BTW

GOOD LUCK

Thank you for all the kind comments! :) Yes, the closing of the parks just makes me go, "Whaaat??" Doesn't make sense. Was thinking today of visiting as many as I can before they close. It would be a good photo-taking goal I suppose. ;-) #9428000
