The wharf has been fully demolished now, & the Pelicans have lost their resting place. These birds were all sitting along the bank like they were trying to work out what had happened. Lens aperture f/10, shutter speed 1/200sec, focal length 200mm, ISO 200.

SUCH a lovely location, Chris...I can see why the birds love it!! :o) I'm sure these pelicans really cannot work out what has happened to their favourite resting places...but, as Ann said, "I'm sure they will adapt" - in time!! :o/ Sadly though, it may just be that they will move on further away from this beautiful spot!! :o( #9429107Heather Loewenhardt June 06, 2011
