Monique, I blended layers, first with a brown layer, then with a charcoal texture background. I got these free from http://shadowhousecreations.blogspot.com/2010/04/4-layer-masks-set.html
His texture layers usually work better than mine. Thanks! #9392156

Expert use of textures and effects to create the illusion of an aged photo.

The barn, of course, is the perfect subject for this kind of effect. Excellent work Phyllis.
