Pink Moon Description: Driving west through the Wet Mountains in summer 2003 and nearing the Wet Mountain Valley, my purpose was to capture the full moon setting over the Sangre de Cristo range. The atmosphere was hazy from the forest fires, and the moon turned pink-orange, then faded away well before setting (and well before I reached my view of the Sangres). I pulled over and shot a series of photos. Tripod-mounted N65, 70-300ED zoom, no filter, Velvia. I increased saturation slightly in Photoshop but didn't do any color correction.
