Hi Judith. How did you give the image the "watercolor" effect? It's really beautiful! #1368241

Hi Linda,
I did HDR processing on this picture using Photomatix. Basically, you do 3 or 5 bracketed shots at different apertures and then merge them back together using th software. You can do this manually in Photoshop, but Photomatix gives you a variety of different presets that make the work a lot simpler. This one was done with th "Grunge" setting.

Thanks for the info Judith. You really captured a fond memory. Makes me think of my grandparents' old homeplace. Very nice! #9343503

Hi Judith. Photomatix may call it "Grunge" but for me it is anything but that when applied to your image!
I so like being transported back 60 plus years( of my 72) and remembering our first tractor (A Fordson not an International like this one)and driving it for the simpler tasks on my Uncle Ewart's farm back in Cornwall, UK.
Thanks for the memory Judith. #9360119

Hi Peter,
Thank you for letting me know that these images from an earlier and simpler time have the same effect on you that they do on me!
God Bless!
