Description

1/100s at f/8.0 with Canon EF-S 17-85mm IS USM lens at 17mm. I had scouted a shot for the thirds and threes exercise and was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a regatta going on right where I was. I decided that this shot represented thirds and threes better than my planned shot would have. The sky is the top third, the water is the middle third, and the rocks are the bottom third. I like that the sailboat is directly in the middle vertially and straddling the top third horizontally.
