I Love Junkyard Finds!
This is a great one and wonderful backstory too

I was with a fellow BPer shooting in a cemetery

I have pictures of the closed AND opened gate

A gate that was bound shut with ivy
Very creepy #1361570

Thanks Alex, I'm thrilled. This is one of my favorite images, especially after spending three hours in the junkyard on a hot day ... makes it all worthwhile.

Donít know where to store your hub caps? Try a Cadillac Hearse. But, a funny (or strange) thing happened after I took this photo. Notice that the door on the left is open. It was very calm today, no wind at all, and no one was at this junkyard but me (with permission from the owner of course), but when I circled back to leave, I walked past this hearse and the door was closed!! Not by me Ö but who? Did someone want to be sure I could see inside? I found this hearse on a 20 acre junkyard in Shelby, North Carolina. I don't know about the hub caps, but as a photographer, I was in pure heaven.

The image was enhanced with Viveza and Color Efex Pro software to bring out the soul and character of the Cadillac and hub caps.
