Description: Digging thru my archives again, I found this one - April, 2010 in the TX Hill CountryBluebonnets, coreopsis and the occasional Indian Blanket flower "I've got pieces of April,

Pieces of April Anyone remember that 1972 song by 3 Dog Night? This slice of TX April was found in an empty lot next to a local convenience store. April in TX finds every vacant lot, every nook and cranny alive with wildflowers...thanks in part to Lady Bird Johnson...her vision and legacy lives on and endures spectacularly here in TX each Spring.
