Hi Dave,

I noticed you took this fine photo with your 10-22mm lens. I haven't been able to find this with IS at least on B&H photo. Question: Does yours have IS and if so, did you get this on B&H photo? If not there, where?
Thanks,
Karlene #305740

Hi Karlene,

Thanks for the comment on the photo.

Unfortunately, this lens has no IS, I don't think you can get it with IS. Not sure. I did get it from B&H. I would add, it is a fine lens, lots of good shots to be had with it. I am glad I bought it.

I just took some shots with it of my wife and I kayaking. You can see a couple of them on my web site: www.DaveEmersonPhoto.com they are under places, then, Cowan Lake.

Hope this helps, anymore questions about it, email me.

Hi Dave,
thanks for the info on the lens. I did look at the shots on your website and they are very nice. I especially like the ones with the kayak taken head on. Very nice.

I don't know what the other response from Sharon W. is about, I guess it's meant for you.

Hi Karlene,

I don't think they make an IS version because it is a short focal length lens. But you can get some cool shots with it. It distorts perspective and makes for some interesting photos.

The shots of the Boeing 767 on the misc page of my site was taken with the 10-22 also, it is a creative lens.

With your talent, you would have a ball with it.

I am not sure what was up with Sharon. One of those web things I guess.

Hi Dave,

that does make sense why they do not have an IS on that lens. I definitely like the perspective this lens gives so I'll be planning my purchase.

I've been buying the cheaper lenses since my husband and I produced my son's CD and that was a pretty penny. ...but slowly, i'll load my old lenses on ebay and replace them with the finery of 'worth it's weight in gold' equipment.
Thanks again.

Hi Karlene,

You will enjoy the lens. It is one Jim recommended. I like how it distorts...lots of fun.
