Turn the water on

This bird knows where the cool, clean water comes from. And in today's extreme heat, it was appreciated. The fountain was made & donated by Dieter Hartmann for the Hunter Region Botanic Gardens. Lens aperture f/8, shutter speed 1/320sec, focal length 105mm, ISO 200.

There's Summer & then there's torture!! At least we haven't got floods & cyclones, I just keep thinking of that. Not much at the Gardens at the moment & a lot of the walks were closed due to extreme fire conditions.
