Don't turn tail on me!

Uploaded: January 26, 2011

Description

Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis), my enemy at the moment. They can pass through the eyes of bird netting and eat a bit of all my plums, carefully protected from the parrots. I had to pull all the plums off today to get some for myself. Such are problems of living in the bush :-)

Little pranksters by the sounds of it. How wonderful to live in the bush, must be great. No wonder you have access to all these beautiful birds. Gorgeous image Barbara. #1347460

Pluses and minuses in it all - but I think the pluses might be on the winning side :-)

First Certainly a Married COUPLE

Wonderful Capture Had these at Butterfly World here in Florida. I know how small the are and the frustration when wildlife get into a crop.

Enjoy The PLUMS

Lol, Barbara - what a perfect title for your excellent capture of this humourous bird bath moment!! ;o) The Silvereyes can be pesky when they get into your fruit - we used to have a problem with them when I was growing up on Norfolk Island!! ;o/ #9213839
