Description

Today's balcony, like my pigeon and window ledge day before yesterday, is in Pézenas, France (at least I assume the pigeon is still there). I just ordered a large print (20x24) on double weight matboard to put in a simple black frame -- hope it looks good. Less than a week ago I was asked if I could prepare a number of pieces for display in some offices in town and this is the favorite of the business owner.

Thank you Karen, Mary Beth and Jessica. Yes, I'm very excited, Jessica. I am looking forward to retirement from teaching at the end of this school year and have been wanting to find some outlets for my photography (read: an excuse to travel more to find more ops to work on :) ). Looking ahead to that, I created a web site over Christmas vacation (nmcdonaldphotos.com). I was able to show my work to the owners (a husband and wife team) through the site so apparently my investment of money and especially time is already paying off. I appreciate your encouragement. #9165929

Great still life, Nikki...the colors, shapes, and textures are beautiful...it will look super on the wall...how exciting! I wonder if a distressed black frame would work, then again, that might be too much. Definitely matt black though, IMHO :) Very exciting! #9167848
