Week 7 Assignment 1 - 10ft away with Flash

Uploaded: December 26, 2010

Description

For Christmas, my boyfriend received a book from my mom called, "Weird Wisconsin" which features haunted places in our state. He found a haunted historic cemetery in the book near our home, so we decided to check it out today! I figured I would bring my camera for some very different shots in a somewhat scary location.

I have to admit, I felt a strange feeling while shooting these photos of a tomb and statue from the 1800's! The odd thing was there were 2 rosaries placed in her hands, and bright red poinsettias in her hands flowers. And, there was a red rose laying on the top of the crucifix in front of her as well. We wonder who put them there, since it is such an old grave.

This shot is with my flash standing about 10ft away, which is the furthest distance I can shoot with an ISO 0f 80 with my internal flash.
