Elements Of Design- December 2010
I found a great vantage point- standing outside of the Fallsview Casino's Grand Buffet Room - a patio designed for smoking...
All I can say is, thank God for this designated area- what a view!

Oh my, the sky wheel looks like cut chrystal. It just shimmers. I like your perspective and that sky is amazingly beautiful.Robert Jensen December 08, 2010
Beautiful image and definitely a great view from where you were standing. Now you'll need to go back when it is dark and photograph it spinning when all the lights are on. #9087266Christine Lobsinger December 08, 2010
Hi Carla, and Robert...thank you very much for your kind thoughts-Robert is there a way to photograph this shot in the dark without a tripod? I mean, I was in the casino - well, outside on their patio- no cameras/tripods allowed here, so this was my little panasonic lumix that I carry in my purse.

To do it right at night you would either need a tripod, or you could place the camera on a sandbag/beanbag that is sitting on a table or ledge, and use a remote to fire the camera or the self-timer. In places were tripods are not allowed, I use a Kirk Lowpod with ballhead:www.kirkphoto.com/Low-Pod.html #9087826

HEYEYEYEYE... SIS... how are you? NICE to see you here..Laura E. Swan February 03, 2013
This is one fabulous shot, Christine. Its very special! It stood right out in your gallery!I am thrilled that you have read her books. Don't you feel like a new person now? I sure did after reading E.B.T.L.
I bring mine camping to read over and over. :D And I can't say that about very many books!
Once we understand why we are here, the life becomes better and more meaningful and deep. WE ARE IMPORTANT and we have lessons to learn and things to teach others. About love. Mainly, right?
And I can say with all my heart that I love you and that God put you and I in each others lives. I hope we get to meet someday but if we do not, we have met here and by phone and that has been very rich for me.
xoxoxo-Sis :D
