Thanks for both the comments.

As for posing, this mantis tends to be in the same place every day eating aphids and other small bugs. Once I got my camera set up on the tripod it was just a matter of moving my hand around to get him to turn the right way (he is pretty feisty and has tried to grab me before) and wait for him to strike a good pose. #1699892
