Meyers Spring

Uploaded: October 16, 2010

Description

Meyers Spring is a most historic place and in the National Register and has been a watering hole and residence for more than 10,000 years. It has pictographs on the wall dating to 4,500 but the most dramatic are the Historic Period in the late 1800. The middens next to it are over several acres big. I fell in taking photos of the pictograph but the Canon EOS 1D Mark IV survived. I liked this perspective of the spring waters.

Ha ha...you had your wide angle on and lost track of the distance, I take it! Funny. Glad you and your camera are ok. What a fascinating place to experience, Emile...wonderful history and capture!

I end up doing the same thing, but with horses right in my face when I take my camera from my eyes...it's really very funny. #8976978

Thank you Bobby, Patricia, and John. 10 days of 5 hour hikes over boulders, rocks and steep canyons has every muscle in my body aching. Back to work to get some rest. #8980896
