Description

The leaves are turning color now and there is a chill in the air. Two Blue Jays have me trained to supply peanuts when ever they grace me with a visit. I hope they continue to drop by daily and charm me with their antics.

Lovely image of this Blue Jay Heather. Congratulations!!!
I remember one winter when I was just learning photography, I went out to my lawn so I could get a few film pics of the chickadees, tufted titmice and cardinals at the feeder. Well the blue jays were cawing in the trees around the yard. They were cold and hungry and wanted their share. As soon as I went in they all swooped down and landed in the tree by the feeder and shooed the little guys away so they could feed too:) #9043395
