Black Eye Susan, Grasshopper and Bee Description: 300f4, f8 at 1/200, Velvia 100F, matrix metering with -1/3 compensation. I was initially looking for black eye susans to frame with queen's anne lace. This little flower attracted my attention due to the arching grass blades that neatly framed the flower. Once I set up the grasshopper decided to join the picture. The grasshopper got a little anoyed when the bee butted in to get some pollen. I shot at f8 to get the flower, and company, in focus with the grass blades slightly out of focus and background completly out of focus to provide unifrom background that was not distracting.
