Isn't PS great?

Yes, Debbie, it is! This is beautiful. The homes almost look like they are toy miniatures. Would you share how you achieved this? :-) #32526

Thanks so much Patricia! The original had the strip of houses and trees on the shores of a river. The reflection of the sky, was the original sky but the original water was very blah. I used the flood filter to replace it. Then I used a plug-in filter called "Glitterato" to replace the sky. I wanted to achieve a night/day look. Then there was a lot of blending I had to do to piece the sky together and blend it into the trees. I used the cloning and healing tools for that.

I'll try to upload the original...

Judy, thank you so much...I'm thrilled with the outcome of this one...it was very labor intensive and required me to do things that I'd never done before! But, the process was so much fun and kind of magical!!

Murry, you are such a supportive BP member...I really value your kind works and observations. Thank you again! #101401

You've hit the jackpot, Debbie! Two great PS7 creations in the finals and both deservedly so! Wonderful stuff! Good luck. #101700

Debbie S. May 26, 2019

Thanks so much Lem! Yea, I'm so pleased that these made it...I worked really hard creating them and had so much fun doing it and I was happy with the results. (This one looks much better big...) I have to say that if it weren't for this site, and all of the patient, talented, knowledgable and generous people here, I would still be totally intimidated by Photoshop and NEVER would have attempted or even imagined being able to do this. You and so many others, have made it fun and accessable. ;>) #101774
