Description

----
In Philadelphia, Logan Square, with its Swann Fountain and manicured gardens, is smack in the middle of the "Museum Neighborhood." I've shown the view (from Logan Square) of the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Art Museum in past photos.
----
In this view, we are looking at the intersection of Benjamin Franklin Parkway and 19th Street, with the Mellon Bank tower in the far background. The red brick building just behind the fountain plumes is the Academy of Natural Sciences Museum, known best for its tropical Butterly Garden and its fabulous dinosaur exhibit.

I agree, Michelle. They should buy all your shots for their tourist brochures. No kidding. And I agree with Murry about the contrast. It makes this pov extremely appealing, that oasis in the concrete city. #8868957
