Kerry, this is just breathtaking. What kind of film and exposures did you use? I am such an amature. Please excuse my ignorance. #129181

Hi Sharon: Thanks for your comments ... I'm glad you like the photo!!
As with all my pictures, what you see are the original colors - no strong filters or Photoshop enhancements.
I used Fuji Velvia slide film, and although I don't recall the precise exposure settings, I can say that I used what's been called an outdoor photographer's TWO most valuable accessories: an alarm clock AND a tripod!
"Marina Sunrise Reflection," by the way, is one of my favorite early-day images - partly because I almost missed it! I found the marina the afternoon before. Early the next morning it looked like the thick cloud cover would cancel out any dawn colors. But, although I was not confident at all, I set out anyway. When I reached the scene 15 minutes later, the clouds were just getting into position for a tremendous sunrise light show!
