Youthful Glow

Uploaded: August 16, 2010

Description

A friend asked me to do some portraits of his daughter, so we did a whole series of both indoor and outdoor portraits. This is obviously one of the indoor images using studio strobes.

I desaturated the image but kept the eyes and lips in color; applied Dave Beaman's Ethereal Glow PS action at 30% in separate layer.

Canon 100 macro with Nikon Soft 1 Filter, F11, 1/160 sec; Main light White-Lightning Zap 1600 in 22 inch white beauty dish with diffusion sock; fill light White-Lightning Zap 1000 bare bulb

Exif: F Number: 11, Exposure Bias Value: 0.00, ExposureTime: 1/160 seconds, Flash: did not fire, compulsory flash mode, ISO: 100, White balance: Manual white balance, FocalLength: 100.00 mm, Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark II

I like this, Robert...Nice studio work and love the softness....I also like the lips and eyes with the B&W! I have a white lighting studio light, but it won't flash when I take the pictures. Any thoughts of what I might be doing wrong? Thanks! #1298846
