Description

HDR F/29, 38mm focal length, 18-200mm lens, ISO 200.

The Mammonth Hot Springs has always been a popular desitnation in Yellowstone National Park. Its ever changing terrances are formed from hot water, disolved calcium,and bicarbonates on the surface. The escaping carbon dioxide then combines with the calcium to form limestone deposits known a travertine.
