Fireman Filling the Water Tank

The first order of business for the day is filling the water tank. This water will produce the steam to drive the steam engine.

The fireman's wife had her work cut out for her. Two of the volunteers had injuries so she had to take their place for this weekend runs. She was the tour-guide, conductor, and brakeman all rolled into one. She said all the volunteers had to be trained in all phases of the operation so it was just part of the job, but it was a long day for her.Robert R. Goodman August 03, 2010
