iso 100, 17mm (Canon 17-40L), f/16 (av priority), 1/80 sec, ground held, pse8... This morning at Mt Rainier National Park.. I saw these flowers that are maybe 6-8 inches tall and held the camera on the ground under them pointing up at the sky...

Bob, Very nice capture. I really love the angle you chose and the sun burst looks great. There is one dot of pink I would get rid of near th smallest flower.Love this! #1293324

Yes, that's the flower the pink, I see, is in the dark part of the leaf next to where the spine/dark part of the petal meets the leaf. You're welcome.

This backlighted image is my favorite for the month of July. The texture details are so sharp and clear with wonderful tonality and I love the sunburst, which adds to its freshness. Good job, Bob. #8814241Bob Cournoyer August 08, 2010
Thank you very much, Bunny... :-) #8814251Mitch Spence August 21, 2010
I think this is such a beautiful image, Bob. The low angle, the colors, the sun, the shadows, the comp. Very, very nice. #8852725Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
