I love this lighting! Very good, you can see details in both the highlights and shadows. Be careful in your other images as the highlights (right side of face) is blown out and the left side (shadows) is way too dark, reminds me of the phantom of the opera. Other than that, I love this image the best. #1622009

Thanks, Julie! Thanks also for your input. Actually I was going for a dramatic look and wanted the lighting ratio to be higher with more light and dramatic shadow per the work of some photographers' work I really admire (David Harvey, Steven Meisel, etc.). But I appreciate your honest opinion!

I still appreciate your input, Julie... I'm still experimenting, so it's good to know what people think of various styles. I'll know that if it doesn't get finalist or something, it may partially be due to the fact that some people don't like the lighting scheme. Happy clicking!
