Beautiful colors, lines and shapes, Bob. Love the diagonal of the cloud shadows and the sliver of sky you have left above the horizon. #1288226

I'm reluctant to select and comment on Tres Callas as my favorite of your July entries -- don't want to jinx it (but it secretly is :) )
I'll go with this beautiful scenic instead. The colors are rich, the cloud patterns add interest and make this stand out among the many Grand Canyon shots people take, the detail and focus is good throughout, and I love that sliver of sky with the beautiful puffy clouds. That's certainly enough to make anything qualify :)
From your Utah-Arizona trip I also like Nature's Patterns which I find almost a nature abstract and Lady in the Bathtub for the composition -- the road adds so much to this scene. Your flower macros are very nice and I think I'll go with After the Rain for its lovely combination of crisp focus and detail with soft flowing lines and hues.
Good luck, Bob -- it's great to see a nice number of entries from you for a change :) #8812171

Thank you very much, Nikki! I'm crossing my fingers for "Tres Callas". You certainly have a way with words... :-) #8812467
