Hi, Pom!
At first, I thought you were posting a photo of the late crooner, Perry Como, and his wife. (Just because you corrected the title after Carolyn mentioned it, doesn't mean the bp site changed the original title...)
This cosmos looks so pretty with the Frac filter and various colors. Great save from what would initially appear to be a photo doomed by darkness!
NOW I know what I can do with my thousands of less-than-perfect photos, saved for years and years!!

Laura E. Swan 8/5/2010 12:02:14 AM

Hi Mare!

So cute. Yes. Let's go with COMO! I loved him, too! So FAIR a FACE! I didn't know that he passed away! She did too? Very sad.

YES! SAVE YOUR SHOTS. THEY ARE WORTH IT!

DDR B4 the trash can! FOR SURE!

Thanks Sweet Mare!

Wonderful image Laura! I don't have the Fractalius filter, but I'm learning a few tricks in Topaz. #8844139

Laura E. Swan 8/17/2010 5:31:47 PM

I'd love to have TOPAZ! Wonderful effects with that filter.

I highly recommend the Fractalius filter, too. It's so MUCH FUN!

Great to have you visiting, Amanda! :)

Have a wonderful evening with all of those stars in your sky!

-Laura #8844383

Amanda D. Austwick 8/17/2010 6:29:41 PM

Maybe some stars after midnight. We had very heavy rains and thunderstorms this evening. I feel that it is like living in the west coast of FL again.
I'm trying to stop being such a night owl. #8844498

Laura E. Swan 8/17/2010 6:36:30 PM

I am one, too, Amanda...but by nature I am a morning person...so I stay up late and get up early! EEK! BAD COMBO!

Stay dry, okay? :) #8844508

Amanda D. Austwick 8/17/2010 8:45:53 PM

Me too, but working at home, I can take naps in the afternoon, but never later than 2, and never more than 1&1/2 hours.
Below is my newest image. #8844747

Hi Kathy! Lol! The doomed flower gets saved! HA! Love it! Thanks so much for your comments. Big smile here.

What a wonderful place BP is. I try harder because of all of you.

You are so right to call this beautiful flower cosmos, SSSLala.
It seems to me that all of cosmos is in every tiny flower - and we are all part of each and every flower that we see.
At least that's how I feel.
Beautiful work, Sister!!! #10451986

Patrick Rouzes 12/5/2012 7:55:42 AM

WOW! That's amazing, Laura! You sure do wonders in the DDR! So creative - fantastic work! I sure wish I could get the frac filter to work in my (PC) environment. As for my D700 - I traded it in on the new model(s)... Couldn't afford to shell out all that money without a trade! #10454128
