Mount Desert Island is home to many wonders, including historical towns, villages and attractions that have made Maine famous worldwide. One such historical beauty if the Somesville Bridge, in Somesville. This well-photographed bridge has become one of many icons that symbolize the beauty of Maine and the wonders of tourism within the state. This is one of my favorite places to photograph. It was only 10 mins from the campground.
