One Came Tumbling Down
The rubble that was the downtown Macy's in Houston, Texas. shot from one of the light rail stops on Main Street.
Long-time Houstonians remember the store as Foley's, which began as Foley Brothers Dry Goods Co. in 1900, ultimately acquired by Macy's in 2006.
The 10-story downtown building, which opened in 1947 as "The Store of the Future", was imploded on Sunday, September 22, 2013.
New retail space will be constructed in its place.
