Low Light wedding photography and a Day spa
firstly I am shooting my first wedding in a low light small old church nervous about what lense to use at the altar during ceremony I have the canon 20d - 24-70mm f 2.8 IS and 70-200mm f2.8 IS lense, Not sure yet if I am allowed to use flash am waiting to hear off teh minister, if not then what apt and shutter speed on 400 ISO will get me crisp iamges with background detail and no black hole, is 125th @ 5.6 ok? or better a slower shutter speed of 1/30th?
With flash I have the 420ex canon???
2nd question, just got a job today for a brand new day spa very asian in style, wooden floors, sheer white fabrics draped around a marble bath tub & massage tables and a gold buddha behind the bath with dimmer lights in all rooms and lots of candles, beige walls and ceilings are a good height not too high so I can bounce flash, there is a few windows in each room however I would keep the pale blue blinds down I think,
I am trying to capture an image of couple in rose petals filled bath and of all rooms in spa, very low light, do you think its necessary to hire a 2 light set up?
If so I am unsure of how to acheive the spa mood with candle light but capture all detail in an image big enough to enlarge to a massive poster. I was thinking small apts and slower shutter speeds, ???
Any ideas on this, plus I have a
I would greatly appreciate any advice, hope to hear from you soon,
