I filled out Jim's survey and got a $50.00 credit.I didn't want to take a class, so just ignored the credit until I got an email from him this morning: "SECONDLY, I made a mistake yesterday, when I said that you can use your discount code ( happy50offBP2014 ) on a gallery. Since galleries cost only $49, this was causing a $1 credit, driving my bookkeeper nuts, and giving some people were page errors. So I've decided to instead make it so that you can get or renew a BetterPhoto Gallery with a special 2-for-1 deal. For the next 7 days, gallery owners get TWO YEARS for the price of one. If you want a gallery, simply go renew before Tuesday, January 14th, at midnight, and we'll add an extra year to your order for free."

Yesterday's e-mail mentioned galleries, too, so I used that code to renew and the expiration date of my gallery was changed from September 2014 to 2015 but maybe they'll cancel it now. I will not pay for the option they offered today (they have had 2 for 1 offers before and I've used a couple of these in the past) and if my gallery will expire this September, not next, I'll not renew my gallery any more.... the recent developments are not very promising.

Jill, I reread Jim's e-mail. He's basically saying that the $50 coupon can only be applied to classes. But because his original e-mail mentioned galleries, he's saying that he'll give a 2-1 deal. But you have to pay the upfront costs. Again, the coupon is now only valid for the classes.

I clicked the renew now button and got a prominent Two Years for the Price of One renewal form. I filled in my CC information and the emailed code. The order confirmation page stated I'd be getting two years for $49 but only one year was added to my gallery subscription.

Irene, contact them and let them know. Hopefully they will fix it. The expiration for the offer is the 14th, so I would let them know what date you paid it

Well, I bit the bullet and renewed and also did not get the 2nd year added. I did use the coupon and there was a note saying the coupon was not valid or may have expired...I sent BP an email and nothing has been done yet.

My gallery now shows the correct expiration date. I had not contacted them but the correction was made. Jill, I'm sure you will get the additional year also.

I also ordered the 2 for 1 Gallery and got only one year added! I emailed BP about this. I had one year left but decided to purchase for 2 more years and only one year was applied!
