I mean, I had really liked the original, but after submitting it a few times, I decided to try to lighten it a bit before submitting it again. While I was at it, I blurred and did some cloning and burning of the bg. I also used curves, which in my eyes, helped to balance the light. I'm glad you like the re-do, too!
